WOW We got to bed at 2122 last night and I slept till 0630 I am so rested like 9 hours yeehaw! Today is our concert and soda, CAN'T WAIT!!!
Concert was great and the music was good! I ate way to much. I had a med dominos pizza, 2 kitkats, 2 reeses, 2 bags of skittles, 4 bags of chips (small) and 3 pepsi's. I was so full then they made us eat dinner when we got back. (oh there was pictures taken of me at concert by the people (www.victoryconcerts.com) I think they will post them if you wanna take a look. Then we got smoked in the pit. Low crawling not too bad then we had a relay of 20 from each platoon leadership had to go twice and it was a race. Well we lost the race, but won the contest. I guess the whole point was working as a team and we did. Stayed together the whole time. So we won and as a soldier being good as an individual or just a squad does not mean shit compared to working as a team, as a platoon, that is. That is exactly what our DS said so we live by that and it has proven us right because we have the most banners and all the ones awarded to the entire platoon including BRM (Basic Rifle Markmenship) We got an 81% which is great! The highest ever is 83% they only count your first time shooting. Oh back to the concert I forgot I was dancing in front of the whole battilion Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Echo that is about 1200 soldiers. Did I mention I was alone!! Those who know me that will not surprise you at all those who don't know me that well stay tuned...wait till I get some freedom! Well on fireguard again tonight. That is 3 out of 4 nights if you are keeping track...lol Oh well shit happens, its only like 1 hour so I need to get have a big day tomorrow get to fire some big weapons tomorrow M249, 50 cal, a claymore mine and a 203 something. I can't remember I will tell you tomorrow...

I am covered in bruises from head to toe, but it was worth it! I went head to head with 4 males and they DID NOT take it east at all. I got my ass kicked. I was seeing stars, but so were they so all was well.

Well now pick up and get out before sunrise. We had to to move camp and march back to company. I did pretty good. I did fall on my ass, well face, but no real harm done. Just fell back a little but no fall outs. My shins were on fire woo wee. Got back. Pretty lazy day. Cleaned our weapons for hours, they were really dirty from firing blanks all day for 2 days. Then the DS's and 1st sgt said someone paid for alpha company to go to the movies so we had to get ready and go. We marched out for motor movement and low and behold they called out APRIL FOOLS! LMAO!!! It was funny how many people fell for it. But sunday we do get to go watch a concert, eat pizza, soda, and candy so that will be super fun! I can't wait..PIZZA! YIPPEE! Well then some PT of course and off to bed with us. Oh I almost forgot we practiced throwing granades we are throwing live ones tomorrow. Can you believe we are getting paid for all this? AAA-O ... We went to the urban assalt course and cleared rooms. Did a battle drill on how to approach a house and building how to deal with a 2 story building etc. Fired off tons of rounds, it was alright I messed up while in my search team, but hey I have forgiven myself and my DS told me to learn and move on so I have. Your your own worst critic. We went back to our camp (about 20 min bus ride) and then then fun started. We spent the next 5 hours fighting with other platoons. Ambushing, then getting ambushed. It was fun! Oh and we did the gas chamber again ( victory hammer is at same place as gas chamber) Our DS told us during chow that we are going to go through the what was left in gas chamber from earlier in the day and we were like oh crap that sucks and only our platoon was doing it (of course) but we decided, well most of us, that we would take our medicine and deal with it. Well he marched us up there and we walked through, not to bad, burning eyes, coughing, No runny nose yet so we had to turn around and go back through (no masks) then we look and another platoon is going to take our lead and do it too. So our DS took a CS granade (chokesmoke) riot control and dropped it in there without telling the other platoon so they went in it with some bad shit, way worse then we did because it is more concentrated then what we even did during our time in gas chamber. Well 2 other platoons went through so of course our DS said he wanted us to go through too but it was vouluntary this time. Well all but like 6 went again. I went again of course GO DIABLOS! Well this stuff is serious. I couldn't even keep my eyes open. It was some bad shit! WOWSERS and I did it voluntary. WOW I am crazy LMAO! Oh well we then got a chance to get a sponge bath and change clothes so that was cool. Well at bed time we got attacked for a while before we went to bed. Then found out me and my battle buddy had fireguard. Well I was talking to a male and he voluntered to take our fireguard so we were blessed by God. We did not have to do it and got great sleep it was awesome. Of course we woke up to incoming morter.

We went to victory Hammer! Everyone marched of course, but I had to go to the doctor. Found out I had an ingrown hair that got infected from rubbing on my IBA they had to remove it with no local or anything, hurt like a son of a bitch, but doc said because I was on top of it I saved myself a lot of pain. It was on my lower stomach and heading for inside so I guess DS's do know what they are talking about. I'm glad he made me go.
OK back to Victory Hammer...It was fun as hell! When I got there we were clearing with blanks in our weapons. We set up our hooches (ponchos tied to 4 trees and you sleep under them) NO TENTS! Some females were freaking out I loved it. I miss camping. Just missed the food and campfire. We slept 2 to a little camp. All 50 of us in a circle facing out to protect our base camp. All the while DS's would be throwing granades at us and we all hit the dirt. We all walked about 1 mile full battle in the dark in the woods with no light or sound. It was cool! The funny part was all the females when we got back worried about bugs getting on them LOL and a few males too. We had 3 sleeping bags, a light one, a water proof one, and a cold weather one. I slept on top of wet weather and cold weather one in the light one in my tshirt. I tried to tell everyone that sleeping in your clothes is a bad idea but come morning they realized they should have listened. Now they are cold because they just got out of hot sleeping bags and then clothes are wet from sweat LOL The DS told them all they were crazy later. WOW! I guess the old lady does know a thing or two. BTW...the only female in my platoon close to my age is 22 so I am atleast 11 years older than all the females in my platoon.
